Blinds can sit either inside or outside the window recess. Always use a metal tape measure. Please supply measurements in centimetres.

Roman blinds usually come with a standard straight bottom edge but an alternative is to have a rod on the bottom. Please tell us if you require a rod in the bottom edge of the blind, this can be brass, chrome or pine.

Inside recess

  1. Measure the length from the top to the bottom of the recess
  2. Measure the width at the top of the window recess where the blind is to be fitted.
  3. Check the window is straight by measuring the bottom of the recess.(Just give us the top width x the length.)

Outside recess

  1. To obtain the length, measure from the required point above the window down to the required length.
  2. To obtain the width measure the width of the window and add 10cm to provide adequate overlap at each side of the window.
